“This is a line with quotation marks and the line’s got an apostrophe, too.”

Em-dashes work—that we know. And en-dashes work also, from 2026–. “‘Nested’ quotes?” They seem fine, though the spacing is sub-optimal.

We already know that equations work well:

$\pi = 4 - \frac{4}{3!} - \frac{12}{5!} - \frac{180}{7!} - \frac{6300}{9!} - \frac{396900}{11!} - \cdots = \sum_{n=1}^\infty \frac{-4((2n - 3)!!)^2}{(2n - 3)(2n - 1)!}.$

Inline math also: $(x_1 + x_2) + (x_1 x_2) = c$ .

I created this site mainly from prompts to Claude Code. I wrote a foundational design document and then answered additional questions that Claude posed. This is the site that came from that.

$f(x) = \sum_{i=0}^\infty \frac{i^2}{2}.$

When $i = 0$ , the entire expression is $0$ , and it contributes nothing to the sum.

Welcome to the new site. After years of a bare-bones placeholder, I finally built something worth reading.

This site runs on Eleventy, is styled with plain CSS, and is hosted on S3. No JavaScript frameworks, no build-time bundling beyond what Eleventy provides.

Here’s a small Rust snippet, just to test syntax highlighting:

Mathematics

And a bit of math, rendered server-side with KaTeX. The quadratic formula:

Euler’s identity, perhaps the most beautiful equation in mathematics:

$e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0$

Inline math works too: the area of a circle is $A = \pi r^2$ .
